Apply For Visa
International guests should check with their local Chinese embassy or consulate to determine if a visa is required for their visit and apply in good time.
For most countries, a hotel booking and flight itinerary is all you need to apply for a visa to China, and a letter of invitation is not necessary.
If the consulate asks for a letter of invitation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the request, including a scanned copy of the visa applicant’s passport photo page.
Please be advised that NYU Shanghai cannot offer visa advice. If you would like assistance with your application, please consult your local travel agent or an international visa agency such as CIBT.
