Tickets

On Thursday, May 30, 2019, the NYU Shanghai community will gather at the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2019.  

 

How to attend:

 

Graduates

 

All seniors who are eligible to walk in the May 2019 ceremony will automatically receive an invitation. You will not need a ticket for yourself.

 

 

Family and Guests

 

Please fill out the form below to request up to 4 guaranteed Family Tickets, and enter the lottery for additional Family Tickets.

 

All family members and guests MUST have a ticket to attend the ceremony. Tickets are free of charge, but supplies are limited, so please limit your order to the number of tickets you will actually use.

 

Please note that the Ceremony is not a suitable environment for young children, and those under the age of seven will not be allowed in the hall.

 

The deadline to request Family tickets is March 4, 2019.

 

Faculty, alumni, staff, and special guests do not need to fill out this form. You will receive your invitations separately.

 

 

Your Personal Information
Ticket Information

You are guaranteed up to 4 Family Tickets.

The lottery for additional tickets will take place after ticket reservations close on March 4. Expect an email about your total ticket allocation in March.

We will do our best to accommodate guests in wheelchairs or with mobility impairment.

 

 

Additional Tickets

 

If you request extra Family Tickets, your request will be entered into a lottery after ticket reservations close. This will not affect your guaranteed Family Ticket allocation. You will still receive up to 4 Family Tickets, depending on your request. We will notify you about your total ticket allocation in March, after reservation close.

 

Ticket Collection

 

After your total Family Ticket allocation is confirmed by email, you can collect them from Student Life one week before the ceremony. Present your Student ID/Net ID to collect your Family Tickets.

 

Accessibility

 

Wheelchair accessible seating sections have been reserved for guests with mobility impairment. If you or any of your guests require accessible seating or special assistance at the ceremony, please inform shanghai.commencement@nyu.edu.

 

Shanghai Oriental Arts Center does not provide hearing aids or wheelchairs.
