Tickets

On Wednesday, May 23, 2018, the NYU Shanghai community will join together at the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center in Pudong, Shanghai, to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2018.  See below for how to attend:

Graduates

All seniors who are eligible to graduate, or will be close to graduating, in May 2018 will automatically receive an invitation to walk in the ceremony. You do not need a ticket.

Family and Guests

Each participating student may request up to four guaranteed Family Tickets and enter a lottery for additional Family Tickets using the form below.

All family members and guests MUST have a ticket to attend the ceremony. Tickets are free of charge, however we respectfully ask that you only order the number you need. Please note that graduation ceremonies are not suitable for young children and children under the age of seven will not be allowed in the hall.

Requests for Family Tickets should be received no later than March 1, 2018.

Please note that this form is only to request Family Tickets. Faculty, alumni, staff and special guests will receive invitations separately.

Sorry...This form is closed to new submissions.

Additional Tickets

If you indicate that you would like extra Family Tickets, your request will be entered into a lottery after the deadline for Family Ticket requests closes. This does not affect your guaranteed Family Ticket allocation. You will be notified by email in March with your total number of Family Tickets.

Please note that there will be a live webcast of the ceremony for family members who cannot attend and wish to watch online or in the Academic Building.

Ticket Collection

You will receive confirmation of your total Family Ticket allocation by email in March. Your Family Tickets will be available to collect from Student Life approximately one week before the ceremony. Graduating students will be required to present their student identification (Student ID card/Net ID number) to receive their Family Tickets.

Accessibility

Disability seating sections have been reserved for guests in wheelchairs or with mobility impairment. If you or any of your guests require accessible seating or special assistance at the ceremony, please inform shanghai.commencement@nyu.edu. We regret that hearing loop and wheelchair hire are not available at the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center.
