Undergraduate Commencement

Nearly 300 members of NYU Shanghai’s Class of 2021 hailing from 35 countries celebrated four years of achievement and perseverance on May 25, in the university’s first in-person undergraduate commencement ceremony since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 226 students processed across the Shanghai Oriental Art Center stage to receive their degrees, while an additional 69 students joined remotely in the livestreamed ceremony, watched by hundreds of viewers around the globe.

Graduate Convocation

NYU Shanghai held a Master’s Convocation on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 10 AM for graduates of the second classes of the master’s programs in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Quantitative Finance, and Data Analytics & Business Computing.

Go Local Master’s Convocation

NYU Shanghai held a Go Local Master’s Convocation on Friday May 21, 2021 for 88 Go Local graduates from NYU Center for Data Science, Silver School of Social Work, School of Professional Studies, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, Tandon School of Engineering, Tisch School of the Arts, and Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
